Bharati University, is a deemed university established in 1996. It has 29 constituent units. One of the distinguishing features of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University is that all health related disciplines such as Medical, Dental, Ayurved, Homeopathic and Nursing are located in the same campus. Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University probably is the only University of its kind in the country having research institutes on its constituent units. They are Yashwantrao Chavan Institute of Social Science Studies and Research, Research and Development centre in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Applied Chemistry, and Interactive Research School for Health Affairs. Eligibility for Admission
(a) A graduate degree in Ayurved of any university/statutory body approved by C.C.I.M.
(b) The applicant should complete his / her rotating internship training on or before 31/07/2012
(c) The candidate should posses a permanent registration with any State Medical Council in India or Central Council of Indian Medicine. If he does not have the same he will be required to obtain such registration within one month after admission to the P.G. course, failing which his admission to P.G. course will be cancelled.

Eligibility for Appearing In AYUPET- 2012

  1. The candidate should be an Indian National
  2. The candidate must have passed BAMS examination from any Ayurved College Institute recognised by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi for admission.
  3. The candidate must have completed the compulsory rotating internship before 31/07/2013. He / She will be required to produce a certificate of completion of internship before joining the course. However, such a candidate will be required to pay the entire amount of annual tuition and other fees at the time of counselling. The failure of the selected candidate to pay the entire amount annual tuition fees, development fees and other fees at the time of counselling will result into forfeiture of his claim for admission and the same will be given to the next in the merit list. If a candidate does not fulfill any one or all the above requirements he/she will not be considered eligible for admission irrespective of his appearing and securing a rank in the merit list.

Details

Basis of Selection
1. The selection shall be made strictly on the basis of marks obtained by candidate in AYUPET-2013, Written Test of 200 marks. In case of two or more candidates having equal merit following procedure shall be adopted as a tie- breaker.
2. First preference to the candidate who has got the highest total number of marks at the III BAMS examination
3. If equal, preference shall be decided on the basis of grand total of marks secured by the applicant at the I, II and III BAMS examination.
4. If equal, preference shall be decided on the basis of total marks secured by the candidate at the 12th standard examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects taken together.
5. If equal, preference shall be decided on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidate in the 12th standard examination including all the subjects.
The allotment of the subject will be done as per merit and depending upon the availability of seat in a particular subject at the time of counselling of the candidate.
The question paper of AYUPET- 2013 shall consist of 100 objective multiple choice type of questions. The question will be on the syllabi prescribed for the I, II and III BAMS examinations, with more weightage given to clinical subjects. Each correct answer will get 2 marks. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions or wrong answers. The candidate will have to mark right answer from the suggested alternative answers.
