Information

In order to meet the growing demand for management education, the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal, with the help of a donation from Narsee Monjee Educational Trust, established a recognized Management institute of the Mumbai University in 1981.
Since then NMIMS has grown into a flourishing University, offering courses / programs across various disciplines, such as Management, Technology, Science, Pharmacy, Architecture and Commerce.
Today, NMIMS is one of the fastest growing and the top, private University in the country.
NMAT-T is a National Level Aptitude Test conducted by NMIMS for the Admission to MBA Pharma Tech courses running in the Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Technology Management (Mumbai & Shirpur Campus)
NMAT-12 will held on 13 May, 2012.

Important dates and Eligibility

Eligibility

The candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent exam including international IB Diploma (IB certificate awarded not eligible) with science or science vocational with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and English as compulsory subjects and obtained minimum 50% marks in (PCM/PCB). Those awaiting their 10+2 exam result this year may also apply
1. Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply provided they should obtaining the required minimum cut off marks and also producing all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.
2. Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination including IB Deploma can also apply but their admission to the courses will be subject to criterion 3.1 above, obtaining the required minimum cut off marks and also producing all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.
3. Those candidates who have passed, or, are appearing for 10+2 examination from a Board/University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the Board/University concerned about the equivalent percentage for the GPA obtained.
4. It is sole responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess necessary and requisite qualification for the admission to the courses at NMIMS.
5. NMIMS reserves the right to alter the terms of eligibility without intimation to the applicants.

Selection Process
All eligible candidates who wish to apply for admission to the MBA (Pharm. Tech.) Programme will be required to appear for a Written Test to be conducted at various locations in India.
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in written test, and availability of seats as per eligibility criteria.

Note : In case adequate number of candidates not registered at any of the center, candidates will be informed to take the exam at nearest center. NMIMS reserves the right to cancel any venue of examination for any reason and the applicant will have to take the test at any of the other venues available. The NMIMS decision in this regard will be final.
The venue (School/College) at each centre will be communicated to the candidate in due course of time through the website. Please check important dates put on the website. You are required to download the exam call letter from our website www.nmims.edu. No separate call letter will be mailed/posted.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in NMAT (T) & will be put up on the NMIMS website as per important dates. The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

If at any stage, it is found that a candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the information furnished by him/her in the application form is incorrect, his/her admission to the course, even if selected, will stand cancelled. Such candidates appearing for the NMAT (T) will do so on their own risk.
Canvassing in any form for admission will disqualify the candidate.
Regular classes will commence from the date given in the important dates.
All matters of dispute will be subject to the legal jurisdiction of Mumbai only.

TEST SCHEME
Structure of the Test -NMAT (T) 2012
The NMAT (T) 2012 for MBA (Pharma. Tech.) Programmes would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type of questions).

Call Letter/ Admit Card
On the basis of information indicted in the Application Form, your call letter/admit card for the Admission Test will be available on the website. You are required to download the call letter/admit card from our website www.nmims.edu No candidate, without call letter/admit card or without the photograph on the call letter/admit card will be permitted to appear for the test.

REFUND RULES
The Schedule of refund of fees will be as follows:
1. Till the date of commencement
of the Programme.
Rs.1000/- will be deducted as administrative charges
2. After the commencement of Programme but before the close of the admission. Rs.1000 + Proportionate fees i.e. one tenth of the fees for every completed month or part thereof, if the seat vacated by the candidate is filled. If the seat remains vacant /unfilled no fees will be refunded.
3. Cancellation after the official Closure of admission. Cancellation made after the official closing of
admission no fees will be refunded.

Test Centers

1. All eligible candidates who are registered will be called for the test. The candidates should check that he/she is eligible as per the conditions regarding qualification stated above.
2. The NMAT (T) 2012 will be conducted at following centers (Cities).
Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Surat, Shirpur
Once you select the exam center, change of center for writing the NMAT (T) 2012 will not be permitted.
