Peoples Education Society University Scholastic Aptitude Test(PESSAT)

Information

As part of the admissions process PESSAT is taken by all students who are applying for PES University programs.

The entrance test will be of online mode and if students need to get into PES UNIVERSITY, they must take up the PESSAT (entrance test). This applies to all the courses offered at our university.

For Engineering: PESSAT will be conducted on different dates at various locations across the Nation.

For all other courses: PESSAT will be conducted only at PES University campus in Bangalore begins from November 2014 upto June 2015.

Important dates and Eligibility

Eligibility

All Undergraduate Engineering Courses:
40 percent (%) of the Seats are reserved for CET candidates
In the remaining 60percent (%) of the seats, the order or selection is as follows:
First Preference will be given to PESSAT Test Scores
Second Preference will be given to CET and COMED-K Test Scores
Third Preference – Other National Level Entrance exams Test Scores

BBM/BCA/BHEM Course
100 percent (%) of the seats will be filled by PES University
All candidates are required to take the PESSAT Test
Selection will be based on 12th Exam performance and PESSAT Test
Tests are carried out at the campus, 02nd February onwards. To schedule a test, please contact Admissions Information Centre (AIC)

MCA Course
40 percent (%) of seats given to PGCET
In the remaining 60percent (%) of the seats, the order or selection is as follows:
First Preference will be given to PESSAT Test Scores
Second Preference will be given to PGCET/KMAT Test Scores
Third Preference – Other National Level Entrance exams Test Scores

MBA Course

Application Fee and Mode of Payment

  • The exam fee is Rs. 975/-.
  • Payment of fees is to be made on-line through master/visa debit/credit cards and netbanking.

1. Credit/Debit card : Can be paid directly.
2. Net banking : Can be paid directly
3. By Challan : Candidate has to print both application form and challan, carry both to bank for payment. Submit hard copy of application along with copy of stamped challan.
4. By Demand draft : Has to be paid in Favour of "PES University General Fund" payable at Bangalore. Candidate has procure DD from bank, enter DD details in the space provided online and to be sent along with printed application form to the following address:

PESSAT 2015 Admission Procedure
The PES Admissions Information Centre (AIC) is open 09:00 am to 05:00 pm Monday to Saturday to help answer questions about applying to undergraduate or postgraduate or research programs offered by PES.
As part of the admissions process PESSAT is taken by all students who are applying for PES University programs.
The entrance test will be of online mode and if students need to get into PES University must take up the PESSAT (entrance test). This applies to all the courses offered at our university.
The test will be conducted across the Nation on different dates for admission at both Under Graduate and Post Graduate level.
The dates of the test will be announced soon
Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of the test score, together with information from students’ applications and those shortlisted will be invited to PES in mid-June for interview
PESSAT will not apply for PESIT South Campus, PESIMSR & PES Central Campus. PESIT South Campus will continue with affiliation from VTU
PESSAT 2015 Fee Structure
Bachelor of Engineering (BE) Rs 240000/- annum
Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) / Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) / Bachelor of Hotel & Event Management (BHEM) Rs120000/- annum
Master of Technology (M.Tech) Rs 240000/- annum
Master of Business Administration (MBA) Rs 360000/- annum
Master of Computer Application (MCA) Rs 180000/- annum
The registration fee for the test is Rs 975/- and candidates can apply online www.pes.edu
Paper Pattern for PESSAT 2015
The test will be of 3rd three hours
Syllabus – CBSE 12
Test format – Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and English
How to apply PESSAT 2015 PES Scholastic Aptitude Test..?
Step 1:

Step 3: PES University Programs require you to take written test. Do not forget to register for PESSAT Test. All Engineering PESSAT tests will be conducted online

ALL BBM, BCA, BHM, MCA and MBA PESSAT tests will be held on campus from Feb 2nd onwards, Please contact the admissions office to schedule these tests
ALL M.Tech courses will not have PESSAT tests, but will honor GATE and PGCET Scores
Note: PESIT, South Campus will not require PESSAT Tests, CET and COMED-K will continue to be used as this college is under VTU affiliation
PESIMSR or PES Central Campus admissions will continue to be status quo, any info on the same, please contact Admissions Information Centre (AIC)
Step 4: For all BE admissions, last date: 05th April.,..2015 registration for students outside Bangalore, 19th April.,..2015 registration for students in Bangalore
For all other admissions, PESSAT Tests will be administered on Campus from Feb 2nd onwards, Please contact the admissions office for more information and to schedule a test
Step 5: Interview – If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview

PESSAT Results: 1 Week after taking the test

For all courses other than BTech candidates can take the test on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays by booking their slots online.
The test centre for all courses other than BTech will only be at PES University, Bangalore.
