  • All India Common Entrance Test (2 papers ) Engineering & Technology The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is the statutory body and a National-level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development [2]. Established in November, 1945 first as an advisory body and later on in 1987 given statutory status by an Act of Parliament, AICTE is responsible for proper planning and co-ordinated development of the technical education and management education system in India. The AICTE accredits postgraduate and graduate programs under specific categories at Indian institutions as per its charter
  • All India Engineering (19 papers ) Engineering & Technology All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is held for the candidates seeking admission to Engineering, Architecture, Planning and Pharmacy degree courses in different engineering colleges and institutes in India. The exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and Department of Secondary & Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in compliance with the directives of the Government of India (GOI). A centralized counselling system is provided for filling up the available seats all over India. This counselling is available only for the candidates who stand in merit of All India Engineering Entrance Examination . This is as per the decision of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Provisionally as per the orders of the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi and directive received from the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination shall be limited to 03 (three) uniformly for all the candidates in consecutive years.
  • JEE-M Joint Entrance Examination Main (47 papers ) Engineering & Technology Admission criteria to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions shall include the performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). The Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.
    The States of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State Level Examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) - 2015 application form online.
  • Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering Test (30 papers ) Engineering & Technology Madhya Pradesh Pre-Engineering Test (PEPT) is for admission to Bachelor in Engineering (B.E.) course in various technical institutes in Madhya Pradesh. Every year many students across Madhya Pradesh appear for Madhya Pradesh PEPT to get admission in the best engineering institutes in the state. The exam is conducted in various centers in order to provide comfort to the students. The students have to be more conscious about this exam and need to work harder to get admission in the reputed institutes of Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering Test is an examination conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board for pursuing various engineering courses. 90% seats in the Government/Aided colleges are reserved for Madhya Pradesh candidates, 5% for Outside MP candidates and 5% for NRIs. For Private Self-financing institutes 75% of seats are reserved for MP candidates, 20% seats for Outside candidates and 5% seats for NRI candidates. Eligibility criteria: A candidate should pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2013 can also apply for this exam. Also a candidate should not be more than 21 years (24 years for SC/ST) on 1st October, 2012. Those students who are applying for Madhya Pradesh seats should have a Madhya Pradesh domicile for which a candidate should have at least been educated for 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years in an institution in Madhya Pradesh.
  • All India Institute of Medical Sciences (14 papers ) Medical, Pharmacy & Nursing All India Institute of Medical Sciences was established by an Act of parliament of 1956 as an autonomous institution of national importance and its objectives and functions were defined. By virtue of this Act, the Institute awards its own medical degrees, diplomas and other academic distinctions. The degrees and diplomas awarded by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized medical qualifications for the purpose of the Indian Medical Council Act and notwithstanding anything contained in the Medical Council Act, are deemed to be included in the first schedule of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from other universities of India.
    The Institute (AIIMS, New Delhi) is a residential university in which the faculty members, staff and the students live on campus. There are 8 hostels for undergraduate students (6 for boys and 2 for girls) with a capacity to accommodate 850 students.
    Other AIIMS like Institutes Under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana 6 New All India Institutes of Medical Sciences are being established similar to AIIMS, New Delhi.Government of India has decided to start six New AIIMS at Bhopal, Patna, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Raipur and Bhubaneswar from Academic Session August 2012. The proposal is for an intake of 50 students for each of the institutions. The Ministry after deliberation took the view that for the first academic session (2012-2013), selection for admission should be done through the same entrance examination through which candidates are selected for AIIMS New Delhi. The counselling and admission in Six New AIIMS will be done by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Any dispute in regard to counseling and admission to six new AIIMS will be dealt with by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi.
  • Armed Forces Medical College (58 papers ) Medical, Pharmacy & Nursing Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a premier institute for medical education in the country. AFMC is managed by Indian armed forces. Students doing their MBBS from this medical college are liable to serve at least 7 years in the armed forces. The graduate wing was started on 04 Aug 1962; Mr VK Krishna Menon inaugurated the undergraduate wing. The College of Nursing was added in 1964. The Armed Force Medical College was founded in 1948 at Pune as a postgraduate training and research centre. The MBBS program was started in 1962 for the interested students. This medical college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science. After doing MBBS from this college, candidates can be assured of service in the armed forces medical department.

  • All India Pre- Medical Pre-Dental Test (49 papers ) Medical, Pharmacy & Nursing * In compliance with the directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the Central Board of Secondary Education, would be conducting the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test, for the academic session 2014-15. This entrance test is being conducted for the 15% merit positions in the Medical/Dental Colleges of India as specified in the directive of the Supreme Court and will be governed by the rules and regulations specified for the same by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India from time to time.
    * There are also State Governments/Universities/Institutions voluntarily participating in the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test - 2015 for using its merit list for admission in the Medical Colleges/Dental Colleges against seats under their control.
    * The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing merit list to the DGHS and participating States/Universities/Institutions.
    * The counselling for successful candidates under 15% All India Quota seats is conducted by the DGHS and the Counselling for admission in seats under the control of other participating States/Universities/Institutions shall be conducted by their respective Authorities.
  • MADHYA PRADESH PRE MEDICAL TEST (20 papers ) Medical, Pharmacy & Nursing,Agriculture, Forestry & Veterinary Science Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test (MP PMT) is held for admission to undergraduate medical and dental programs in Governement and unaided private colleges of the State and B.V.Sc/AH courses in veterinary colleges under Veterinary and Animal Husbandry University, Jabalpur. The entrance test is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, Bhopal. In Madhya Pradesh, 50% seats in all private medical colleges and all MP seats Government medical colleges are filled through Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test (MP PMT). For the final selection, personal interview is also conducted along with the entrance test.Candidates who have passed the 10+2 level exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English with at least 50% (40% for reserved category students) marks in aggregate are eligible for admission to the MBBS/BDS and B.V.Sc./AH Courses.
  • Banaras Hindu university - Medical, Dental, Aryuveda and Pharmacy Admmission Test (48 papers ) Medical, Pharmacy & Nursing The Banaras Hindu University will hold All India COMPETITIVE WRITTEN TEST for admission to MBBS course (84 seats) in TWO stages: PMT-2012 SCREENING and PMT-2012 MAIN, and for BDS (38 seats), BAMS* (50 seats)  and B. Pharm. (33 seats) courses in ONE stage: PMT-2012 Screening. PMT-2012 SCREENING shall be held on Wednesday, the 16th May 2012 at Varanasi, Delhi, Kolkata, and Hyderabad Centres to screen candidates for eligibility to appear in PMT-2012 MAIN examination for MBBS course which will be held on Sunday, the 17tth June 2012 at Varanasi Centre only. For BDS/BAMS*/B.Pharm. courses, candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit in the PMT-2012 SCREENING only.
  • Karnataka Common Entrance Test (4 papers ) Engineering & Technology,Medical, Pharmacy & Nursing Karnataka Examination Authority conducts Karnataka Common Entrance Test for the admission process various undergraduate courses in the colleges and Universities across the state. The eligible candidates of the written examination will get admission into the undergraduates programs in Medical, Dental, Engineering and Architecture course. The examination is only opened for the students belonging to the state only.
