  • All India Common Entrance Test (2 papers ) Engineering & Technology The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is the statutory body and a National-level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development [2]. Established in November, 1945 first as an advisory body and later on in 1987 given statutory status by an Act of Parliament, AICTE is responsible for proper planning and co-ordinated development of the technical education and management education system in India. The AICTE accredits postgraduate and graduate programs under specific categories at Indian institutions as per its charter
  • All India Engineering (19 papers ) Engineering & Technology All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is held for the candidates seeking admission to Engineering, Architecture, Planning and Pharmacy degree courses in different engineering colleges and institutes in India. The exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and Department of Secondary & Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in compliance with the directives of the Government of India (GOI). A centralized counselling system is provided for filling up the available seats all over India. This counselling is available only for the candidates who stand in merit of All India Engineering Entrance Examination . This is as per the decision of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Provisionally as per the orders of the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi and directive received from the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination shall be limited to 03 (three) uniformly for all the candidates in consecutive years.
  • JEE-M Joint Entrance Examination Main (47 papers ) Engineering & Technology Admission criteria to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions shall include the performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). The Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.
    The States of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State Level Examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) - 2015 application form online.
  • Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering Test (30 papers ) Engineering & Technology Madhya Pradesh Pre-Engineering Test (PEPT) is for admission to Bachelor in Engineering (B.E.) course in various technical institutes in Madhya Pradesh. Every year many students across Madhya Pradesh appear for Madhya Pradesh PEPT to get admission in the best engineering institutes in the state. The exam is conducted in various centers in order to provide comfort to the students. The students have to be more conscious about this exam and need to work harder to get admission in the reputed institutes of Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering Test is an examination conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board for pursuing various engineering courses. 90% seats in the Government/Aided colleges are reserved for Madhya Pradesh candidates, 5% for Outside MP candidates and 5% for NRIs. For Private Self-financing institutes 75% of seats are reserved for MP candidates, 20% seats for Outside candidates and 5% seats for NRI candidates. Eligibility criteria: A candidate should pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2013 can also apply for this exam. Also a candidate should not be more than 21 years (24 years for SC/ST) on 1st October, 2012. Those students who are applying for Madhya Pradesh seats should have a Madhya Pradesh domicile for which a candidate should have at least been educated for 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years in an institution in Madhya Pradesh.
  • Karnataka Common Entrance Test (4 papers ) Engineering & Technology,Medical, Pharmacy & Nursing Karnataka Examination Authority conducts Karnataka Common Entrance Test for the admission process various undergraduate courses in the colleges and Universities across the state. The eligible candidates of the written examination will get admission into the undergraduates programs in Medical, Dental, Engineering and Architecture course. The examination is only opened for the students belonging to the state only.
